<p>Hi, I would really like to kno my chances at Stanford. Feedback would be nice. Thanks. </p>

<p>Im currently a junior. I have a 4.45 GPA and am ranked 4th in my class of about 350. I currently take 5 AP classes and took one AP class last year. </p>

<p>SAT:
Math: 710
Crit Read: 700
Writing: 730</p>

<p>Math IIC: 760
Bio: 710
US Hist: 750</p>

<p>Java A: 4</p>

<p>Expect to get:
Java AB: 5
BC Calc: 5
AP US HIST: 5
AP Eng Lang: 3/4
AP Bio: 4</p>

<p>I plan on taking the SAT's again since I have only taken them once. </p>

<p>I have placed at a variety of Competitions too numerous to list, but the best ones are USAMTS(A national Math competition), a 3rd Nationally at Math Olympiad, and State Qualifier 2 years in a row for FBLA. </p>

<p>I participate in Science National Honor Society, FBLA, Mathletes, am the president of the Computer Club, Varsity Swim Team 9-now, Varsity Tennis 9-now. I also have a job at a small local business and manage its online website and computer technical problems, attended CMU's Andrew's Leap program, worked with two real companies(Omnova Solutions and Hamill Manuf. Co.) to solve real issues they dealt with, speak 2 languages, and am proficient in 4 computer languages, as well as weekly do weekly community service at my local library. </p>

<p>The only slight black mark I have on my record is a suspension i got this year for playing a practical joke on a friend. </p>

<p>Im worried that this suspension will ruin my chances. Any thoughts please?</p>

<p>A suspension will no doubt affect your application but it depends on what you were suspended for. I know a person who was suspended in high school but got into MIT and waitlisted at Harvard University.</p>

<p>I basically got suspended for emailing a friend an email saying "I am god." The domain i sent it from was a school domain, and since im not supposed to be using the school email domain, they considered it an infringement of the internet policy.</p>

<p>I doubt that suspension will have any effect on your chances if your GC mentions what it was for.</p>

<p>That is such a ridiculous reason to get suspended! The school faculty must not like you a lot. Otherwise, you would've gotten a warning and a pat on the head.</p>
