<p>Stats:
I've only taken the SAT I (going to retake for sure) and the SAT II's (might retake bio and math2) once and the ACT twice.. I'll try to keep this short... please I would love anybody's input/ an objective view</p>

<p>I took the hardest classes per grade at my school, so if there aren't that many honors initially, it's because my school doesn't offer them</p>

• SAT II: Mat2: 770, USH: 760, Bio M: 710 (ouch, right?), Chinese: 770
• ACT: 35Reading, 35Math , 35Writing, 32Sci (<--killed me)
• AP/IB: AP Euro-5; took APUSH, AP Bio, AP English Lit, and AP AB Calc this year but haven't gotten scores back. I'm hoping for 5's on all but I doubt Calc will be a 5 beause i was thoroughly raped by that exam. Bio is the next iffiest exam
• Freshman Year- Eng9, Honors Math, French2, Bio, Humanities: drama, world history
• Sophomore Year- AP Euro, Honors Math, Eng10, Advanced Chem, Acting, Adv. French 3
• Junior Year- APUSH, AP Bio, AP AB Calc, Eng 11 (I self-studied for AP English Lit), Trig Physics, Adv. French 4
• Senior Year (not yet obv.)- AP Econ, AP Art History, AP French 5, AP BC Calc, Neuropsychology, ANimal behavior, Existentialism, Creative Writing

• GPA unweighted: 3.96
• Rank or % estimate: def. top 5%, but our school doesn't rank
• Essays: haven't written yet, but I love writing and I'll make them unique so they shouldn't be too bad
• Teacher Recs: should be good. one from an english teacher who adores me, another from a math teacher who i'm pretty sure likes me as well. I will ask my assistant manager from my job to write me a rec, and he thinks i'm the awesomest kid ever.
• Counselor Rec: should be fine, but i think she thinks i'm an anal overachiever

•Summer after 11th (this summ): working a lot (I work at Lindt Chocolate store, and have been working since December 2006 about 10-14 hrs a week during school year, 20+ hrs during the summer); Leadership in the Business World Program at LBW; orientation for YPT at America's Promise (see below for more details); internship at (international branch) New York Times in Shanghai</p>

-CARE (I founded this comm. service group dedicated to caring for senior citizens, we are having a huge benefit fashion show next year for the Alzheimer's Foundation of America) Gr. 10-12

-Mock Trial (varsity mock trial member since gr. 10, which was when i first joined. We won state last year and advanced to nationals, where we took 23rd; this year, we won regionals and advanced to state again, but were knocked out in quarterfinals...one of the best attorneys) Gr. 10-12
-Model UN; honored delegate gr. 9-10; gr. 11 I was a member of the saint louis secretariat and my position was undersecretariat general (like vice president); next year, i have been elected as secretary general (aka big cheese of saint louis model un) Gr. 9-12</p>

<p>umich, washington u, and northwestern should be easy for u, probably cornell as well.</p>

<p>harvard yale princeton are def. reaches. raise ur SAT stats and u may have a better chance</p>

<p>the other ones, in my opinion, could go either way. u have strong extracurriculars but there doesn't seem to be a trend.</p>
