You have good SAT II scores and ACT, and your GPA is fine too. You have great in-depth extracurriculars which I think you could integrate and elaborate on in your essays if possible.

If you're applying Regular Decision to Duke, aim for straight As in first semester senior year, because that could actually make a difference. I'm not a professional "chancer" (I'm also a rising senior interested in Duke), but I do know that you have good chances. Just give it your best shot, and write AWESOME essays, because essays matter too.

yeh, i would say that duke easily has twice as many applicants as they do spots that are within reasonable range of the expected scores, gpa etc. what seperates the rest are EC's and essays. Your essays can be the factor that gets you in or leaves you behind with the other well-qualified rejections. Your obviously smart and successful in several areas though, so you will end up somewhere great!

Overall, at Duke Regular Decision i say toss-up, 50-50, but keep in mind that this chance could increase or decrease based on essays and other factors I am not aware of. Also, I too am a rising senior in HS and by no means have the chancing skill of an adcom or a current Duke student for that matter. Those who have been through the process and succeeded would no doubt be better judges than I.
