I’m Indian and come from a pretty well off family. I know my SAT’s suck at the moment, but I’m working hard to raise them up. I’m trying the ACT’s as well. Standardized testing is not my friend.

Sine freshman year, I've done about 8 hours of community service every week within my church and outreach programs in the inner city. I also volunteer to sing at various nursing homes and such. I do about 15-20 hours every week during Christmas and Easter, and I volunteer for about 9 months of the year. So adding that all up, thats pretty much over 1000 hours.

Also, I don't really know how I could factor this in my resume, but I'm a part of The Royal School of Church Music. My choir has traveled throughout Europe, and we've been featured in various magazines. Also, this past summer I was a member of the RSCM Advanced Treble Course at the National Cathedral, a group comprised of the 27 "best" choristers in the country. I just don't know if that could only fit in the resume.
