WOW!
I think you have a 90% chance!

I will say that you seem like you have interests and passions that make you an interesting applicant. Your APs and GPA indicate that you are a hard worker, but then this with a combination of test scores will be a more revealing picture.

I encourage you to take advantage of as many opportunities to learn more about Wellesley through interviews, visits, and such. Work hard on your essays, good luck!

I agree with catsushi. You definitely have good ecs and can show the adcom your passion for music. You also have taken pretty solid classes and done well academically. But if you had SAT/ACT scores and other scores to back it up, then you have a pretty good chance at Wellesley, but without scores it’s hard to give an opinion.

Thank you very much for applying:) It is great having your feedback.

ACT-31
SAT- taking beginning of senior year( I have been taking sat prep and studying since freshman year) do you think that will help or is it all a game of chance??
Also, my mom and I will be taking a LONGGGGGGG college road trip this summer across county(from cali---->washington DC, new york, chicago, boston) so I will definitely be getting my visits and interviews:)
THANK YOU GUYS!

oops I meant REPLYING hahahahaaa…:)

Preparation for the SAT is always helpful!

Your road trip sounds fun. My parents are thinking about road tripping across the country when I graduate (otherwise I have no idea how I’ll get everything home…). Definitely check out all your schools you’re interested in if you can, and talk to actual students, not just the people at the admissions office. Good luck with everything!

Advice about college trips: Don’t let one bad experience about a college ruin your whole view of the college! Be aware of whether you have your heart set on a college, or whether your judgment is clouded. I say this because when I first visited Wellesley, I did not get the best experience. I got the impression that the girls were somewhat stuck up, snobby, rich. I visited a second time when I was rejected from my #1 school, and hung out with a different crowd. I got a much better impression. They seemed more laid back, funny, chill. Very opposite of my first visit! But those two visits really sum up Wellesley. Depending on who you hang with, you get a different perspective (which is kind of awesome in my opinion). Looking back, I was also reluctant to get a good impression of Wellesley on my first visit because I felt loyal to another school, if that makes any sense.

Maybe with this in mind you’ll be more aware of which college is really a good fit. Have fun!! :)

Also, don’t let the weather the day of your visit affect your decision. You are coming from California so you’re accustomed to great weather all year round. Remember that if you go to school on the East Coast you will only have California-like weather maybe 2-3 months out of the academic year. The rest of the time will be coooold (compared to CA) and cloudy. This might seem really random but I know a lot of people who didn’t apply to a school because it was raining really hard when they took the tour, or they did apply to a school because it was a gorgeous day when they visited, but actually during the school year it snowed all the time. Just try to get the “right” impression of a school when you visit…

Also, don’t let a drive around the campus count as a visit. Get out of your car, walk around campus, make random conversation with a student – most students will be happy to talk to you.
