Other information

My previous school education system was totally different from America's, they don't require any community hours, extracurriculum activites or sports(because they are already include in the school's curriculum) therefore I'm a deep disadvantage to many other students.

But please chance me!!!

Reach :/

You should try to up your SAT I scores, to make up for your lack of extra-curricular activities. Aim for ~2000+

It also depends on how well you score on your AP exams. But then again, since you received an award as a Junior, I presume you’re a senior, right? Your AP scores won’t matter since you’ll have found out if you were admitted/rejected before you even take the AP exams :|

I agree you should try to up your SAT scores, take it maybe twice more in your senior year if that is possible, but “lack” of extra curricular activities? that I don’t agree with

It’s kinda hard to say because the grading systems in 2 countries are really different. The only thing you can do right now is retake your SAT1 and do well on your SAT2. Like Radiance said, your AP scores won’t matter anymore since they won’t be up until late July and UCs won’t even see/ consider them.
Don’t be discouraged though. I also came here at the end of my junior year and I still got into UCSD.
Try to take more classes at community college, join clubs, and do community service. It will help a lot. btw, I don’t think people put things like “drawing since 6 years old” or “playing piano” on their applications.
Hope this will help. D:
