My Dream School is Middlebury and I have keen interest in Oberlin, Macalester, Carleton, SUNY-Binghamton, UC Davis.

And I am gonna choose East Asian Languages, Literature as my major. Please feel free to recommend any other schools ^^;

Thanks.

middlebury’s a reach

What is “Reach”? Sorry T.T

oh,
safeties are pretty much guaranteed
match means alomost likely, or you will most probably get in
reach means you MIGHT get in, but it’s a stretch

Not that much of a reach; in fact a good shot. Hard to predict these things, but so you have many good things going for you. Go for it.

Thanks NorthCountryCat. Actually I’ve just decided to apply ED for Middlebury!!! I heard that Middlebury has really strong language programmes and I wish I got in…

And I really respect Middlebury for its prudence and honesty. Even though they could have hidden about financial woes, they chose to tell the truth and decided to act bravely. I read an article from the Middlebury Campus and listened to NPR’s “Talk of the nation” featuring Midd President Leibotz. Both showed that Midd is very committed to maintain their great education.
