<p>Alright I know this is annoying but I'm freaking out because Vandy sent out their letters. So if someone would chance me it would be much appreciated!</p>

<p>I applied to the engineering school</p>

<p>Academics: I'm still in high school but I'm taking a full freshmen course load at a university.
I have gotten mostly As with a few Bs. My school doesn't offer APs because we take classes at the university but before I switched to this school I took honors courses whenever offered (I have been to three different high schools).</p>

<p>SAT: M-640 CR-700 W-780
ACT: 32</p>

<p>Essay: About how conditions in Africa have played a vital role in my determining what I wanted to major in. </p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Horseback riding since I was seven
JV and Varsity softball and field hockey
Part of the Student Conservation Association (SCA) and spent a month building a bridge to prevent erosion in a state park
Attended a Woman's engineering camp
Missions Trip with my Church; active member in my church
Student Council since 8th grade; treasurer at my first high school
2nd place award in my state's Science and Engineering fair; Naval Award; Clean tech award; ISWEEEP award (an engineering award)
Internship with a local newspaper
Hold a job at a biotech company</p>

<p>I forgot to mention that I have done 112 hours of community service over the past two years. A majority of that services was completed while volunteering at a therapeutic horse farm for mentally and physically challenge children and adults.</p>

<p>I also have a GPA of 3.8 and am part of NHS.</p>

<p>just to clarify, do you mean you think I have a good shot at getting in?</p>

<p>As far as weighted GPA I’m not exactly sure because I don’t know how my college level courses figure in.</p>
