Vassar isn't my top choice but i'm strongly considering applying.</p>

<p>stats:
white female from public high school in bellmore, new york. (i'm italian, swedish, spanish, and hungarian - if it matters.)</p>

<p>GPA (UW): 94.32
GPA (W): 95.54 (these gpas only include freshman and sophomore years. junior year hasn't been calculated yet but my gpa will go up.)
ACT: 27 (i'm retaking it and studying like crazy and i can DEF get a 30)
SATIIs: Bio(M)-600 Eng Lit-650
APs: Bio-4 Eng Lit- 4 APUSH- 4 AP World History- 2 (<- i might just not include that test on the application, if that's allowed)</p>

<p>I'm taking 5 APs next year, I took 3 during junior year and one during sophomore year (there was only one being offered.)
so here's the grand list of all the APs i've taken/will take: world history, bio, english lit, us history, studio art, stats, eco/gov, english language, psychology </p>

<p>You seem driven, and that can really work in your favor. I do not mean to be pessimistic, but you would be in much better shape to have a 32+ on the ACT. (i.e. I still am trying to bump my 33 up to a 34 for Vassar) They turn down many people with much higher scores than a 30. I’m sure that if you really portray yourself through the essays that you should have a pretty good shot. Best of luck!!</p>
