<p>NYU steinhardt (early decision)

vassar</p>

<p>stats:
white female from public high school in bellmore, new york.
(i'm italian, swedish, spanish, and hungarian - if it matters.)</p>

<p>GPA (UW): 94.32
GPA (W): 95.54 (these GPAs are from freshman and sophomore year only. they have gone up since then but i don't know the exact numbers.)
ACT: 27 (i'm retaking it and studying like crazy and i can DEF get a 30)
SATIIs: Bio(M)-600 Eng Lit-650
APs:
Bio-4
Eng Lit- 4
APUSH- 4
AP World History- 2 (<- i might just not include that test on the application, if that's allowed)</p>

<p>I'm taking 5 APs next year, I took 3 during junior year and one during sophomore year (there was only one being offered.)
so here's the grand list of APs i have taken/will take before high school is over (just fyi):
bio, world history, english literature, english language, stats, psychology, studio art, eco/gov.</p>

<p>you have good ecs, and your gpa looks pretty good although i’m not familiar with the 100 point scale.</p>

<p>Work on your ACT score definitiely and your SAT II scores may be a bit low, but other than that you have a decent shot at NYU, low reach/high match i’d say…im not familiar with the other 2 colleges so sorry!</p>

<p>Right, not whether you would be admitted, but whether you can accept NYU’s FA offer, since NYU is a gapping school. You lose the ability to compare FA offers from other schools, but if NYU is your number one dream school above all others, and you will attend if there is any way to make it work financially, then go for it. The worst that can happen is that you have to say thanks, but no thanks, and apply RD somewhere else.</p>
