My daughter is applying ed1 to Emory
ACT score 32 (34 superscore)
GPA unweighted 93.8 and weighted 95.5
She took 6 AP classes and other h ors classes but didn’t score well on AP exams got 3s and 4s

ESsay is great
REally strong exteacurriculars|
First chair violinist, music honor society, multiple youth orchestras
Varsity tennis grades 10-12 and several regional tennis teams
Extensive community service including starting a teen organization to raise money for autism

I m worried that her grades are low although the rest of her application is really strong. She loves Emory.
What do you think her chances are?

Hi. I was accepted RD (by accident, since I was accepted ED2 elsewhere and failed after attempting to withdraw 3 times). I am not an URM and I had very similar profile with similar ECs, stats (2250 SAT which converts to about a 34) and GPA. I think she has a solid chance. Just tell her to put passion into those essays!

Is she good enough to play tennis at either Emory or Oxford? That would also help.
