i am a junior in high school that will be applying for the fall of 2012 semester. my current GPA is 2.6…bad I know, but I think I can get it up to a 2.8 by the middle of my senior year. My current high ACT score is a 23, (have only taken it once), but I will be taking it at least 2 more times before next Christmas. I am also taking the SAT next month. I have multiple alumini relations with Auburn including my father. My friend who is a senior was accepted for this coming fall term on a 3.0 GPA and a 23 on the ACT. If i can get my ACT to a 26 or 27, would that even out my poor GPA a little bit?

Hey Auburnfan182, I am in the exact same boat as you. My GPA is about a 2.6 and I got a 23 on the ACT as well. I’m kind of a nerve wreck now that I realize the time to apply is coming up so soon. From the responses I got on my thread, it seems like a stretch for both of us, but remember we still have a chance. Especially if we can get our scores up to at least a 26. I’m not taking the SAT, so I can’t really say much to you about that.
