chance of getting into Berkeley ?

Hi~ I am an international student who studies at a California community college right now~ I am trying to get into UC berkeley this fall. My intended major is EECS. I have a 4.0 GPA. By the end of spring semester, I will finish 82 semester units. I will finish most of the classes listed on assist.org. There's only one discrete math that I couldn't take since I have a really busy schedule. And some of the computer science classes are not offered in my college, but I took some C++ and data structure classes alternatively. I don't have a lot of community services and no work experience at all. My personal statement is fair. What do you think of my chance of getting into UC berkeley?? (btw...I didn't receive the regent scholarship invitation letter, which kinda makes me worried... )

u sure u can transfer after u get more than 60 units?

I’d say you have about a 70% chance. I wouldn’t worry about the Regent’s Scholarship. $1000 is nothing compared to the cost of tuition. Besides, they probably send out notifications to freshman students way before transfer students.

If all course work was completed at a two-year college, the maximum unit policy does not apply.

well… I think I am pretty sure…On Assist.org, it actually recommends more units than what I have right now

thanks for your reply…hope it turns out to be as what u said~ XD~

Because EECS is exceptionally competitive, you should complete all required courses (take them at another CC if they are not offered at your CC) AND recommended courses (yes, you should complete the recommended courses).

If you do not have any 4-year college coursework, there is no unit cap and you are fine.
