My GPA is 3.43 weighted and my total SAT score is 1410. I graduated high school in June of 2014 and I'm currently taking a gap year to relax and find out what I really want (if gap years make a difference in being accepted to schools). Also I've previously been accepted to Oregon State University, Northern Arizona University and UC Riverside. Thanks everyone!

P.s. I only want to know what my chances are to see if I should take the SAT's again, even though I don't really want to.

Also, my eligibility index is 3737

Intended major at SDSU/CSULB will weigh heavily into your acceptances. You need around a 4000+ EI to have a solid chance at each of these Cal States. Any chance on retaking the SAT or trying the ACT?? It will also depend upon what you have being doing for this Gap year.

SDSU/CSULB: Low Reach (Average GPA’s 3.8+ and SAT (Math+CR) is 1152)
CSULA/CSUN: Match

I would go with UC RIverside but if you really want CSULB or SDSU, you need to prep for the December SAT and retake (register within 2 weeks and send the scores to these two). Even if you pick a not very competitive major (say, philosophy), you’d need to increase your SAT score.
I certainly wouldn’t go to CSULA, where your odds of graduating within 6 years are about 10%.

OK, thanks everyone. I have decided to retake the SAT since it seems to be in my best interest. I really don’t want to go to CSULA, my top choice is SDSU and CSUN after that.

The OP’s chance of graduating in 4 or 6 years is probably not that much different between different schools. CSULA’s low graduation rate is likely due to its low selectivity – 3.11 average HS GPA, but median SAT section scores in the mid-400s and median ACT scores in the high teens. It is also mainly a commuter school with significant part-time enrollment (and “full-time” students probably average course loads just at the minimum for “full-time” (12 units per quarter), rather than the amount needed to graduate in 12 quarters (15 units per quarter)).

It does not look like any CSU other than SJSU publishes past eligibility index thresholds (although the non-impacted majors at non-impacted campuses are obviously 2900 in-state and 3502 out-of-state).
