Chance of getting into Texas A&M?

Soo I’m feeling like I have a pretty low chance but a&m seems all over the place the more I research so please give any opinions :))

I’m a female from Texas.
I want to go into accounting or nursing but I know the business school there is more competitive. Any feedback on that would be appreciated too.

ACT- 27
SAT- 1190 but waiting for other scores in July
Unweighted GPA- 5.0195 (5.0 point scale).
Not sure what it is on a 4 point scale.
Pretty sure I’m in the top 25% of my class but not sure because they don’t rank past the top 10%.
I’ve taken a majority of AP and Pre-AP classes and made good grades in them.
A/B Honor roll.
My high school is typically looked at very well when it comes to colleges just because we’re considered “competitive.”
I have been in National Honor Society for two years, eligible for three.
I have worked at trampoline parks, babysat, and nannied.

Also any tips for when I apply? Thank you!

and I’m white

I would definitely work on getting your ACT or SAT scores up: http://admissions.tamu.edu/freshman/admitted

You are guaranteed admission if you get a 30 - 27+ in math/english ACT or a 1300 - 600 in math/critical reading SAT (old exam), along with being in the top 25%. I would look over their regulations concerning schools that do not rank past the top 10%.

You do sound like a competitive candidate with your rigorous coursework, though obviously we cannot say for sure. Good luck!
