Senior
Home-schooled via Florida Virtual School
Florida resident
SAT Scores: 1530 (CR: 540, MA: 460, WR: 530) (bad, I know =/ I'm going to take it again in March but I'm not sure how much improvement there will be in a month)
No ACT
Unweighted GPA: 3.8
I don't know what my weighted GPA is.
Six honors by the end of senior year
One AP during my sophomore year.

Intended major: Physics (with a math score like that, it makes you wonder, right?)

EC:
- Latin Club
- Science Club
- Five year violinist (obviously not in a school band, lessons take privately)

Volunteer:
+100 hours
- Nursing home visitation
- Working with pre-school students on the weekend
- Distributing food in a food bank

Other (not sure if this would be classified as EC?):
- I am actively involved in my church. I am the secretary in my church Youth group and I spend an average of 6 hours every week participating in various church activities (Just to clarify, I'm not adding actual church services into this... the six hours include working with volunteer groups, working with elementary children, youth meetings, etc.)

Awards:
(both awarded by my church)
- Academic Award for Outstanding Teens
- Teens in Action - Above and Beyond Award

My course schedule every year hasn't been very vigorous. I have the required courses (18 credits) that universities/colleges ask for and a couple more electives. I have a total of 22.5 credits. I had pretty much taken most of the courses offered by my junior year. It wasn't until this school year that my school started offering more courses.

What are my chances of getting into UCF and USF? I'm pretty sure it's very slim but I'd still like other opinions.

I would return the "chancing" favor but I'm not very good in this area (as you can see). I hope a Thank You would suffice :)

Edit:
I have two letters of recommendation: one from my physics teacher and one from my bio teacher.
