I know notifications come out next month (that's right, isn't it?) but I was wondering if I should expect anything.

Here are my stats I guess?
ACT: 32
Class rank: 16/735
GPA: 3.8 unweighted, 4.4 weighted
A decent amount of extracurriculars but nothing really competitive.. (Interact Club (VP), Art Club, Marching Band, Science Club (VP), Literary Magazine, NHS)

That's about all they look at right?
Thanks for lookin at this.

Oh, and I’m in state and would be going into DGS. No idea what I want to do with myself at this point…

A lot of scholarships are college- or department-based. Isn’t DGS for undeclareds? That would work against you.

You may well get something small or a need-based grant, but I think you’re probably in that gray area between being a solid admit yet not quite in the highest tier for merit scholarships. The 5 students who received $15,000 Premier Engineering Scholarships had ACTs of 34-36.

I would expect you to receive something campus-wide, similar to how the upper OOS students almost all received a University Achievement scholarship, but not anything huge. Your stats are good, but unfortunately, U of I admits quite a few people with stats very similar to yours. You just need to make yourself stand out, and without knowing your complete picture, it’s impossible to definitively say.
