Thanks so much. Chance’d you back

Not to be a downer, but while you look good/within reach for your private institutions (Cornell, UPenn, Brown, etc0 the state schools may be a problem based on your residency. Based on UVA’s charter they have to have about 80% of their students be VA residents and I believe UNC has a similar (though not as high percentage) policy. I also applied to UVA with the same ACT score and higher SAT II scores and was rejected EA and about the same course load in school, but you have amazing extracurriculars that will carry you far, the question is whether they will be enough for state schools.

Thanks for your thoughts! I am well-aware of the competitive out-of-state nature of these two state uni’s. However, I have hope but came prepared to receive unfavorable results. That’s really all I can do by this point. I’ll chance you back in a minute.

Bump

I would say due to your great GPA, test scores, and ECs, you will probably get in to UVA, UNC and BC you will be on the fence for Georgetown and Brown, and you will have a tough time getting in to UPenn and Cornell
