<p>I just finished my junior year so now have pretty much everything for my app complete. </p>
<p>Im planning on applying to penn early decision because i love it there. What are my chances, especially with my somewhat abysmal gpa?
NYU i will do regular application, if i dont get into penn.</p>

-ive volunteered for 5 years at a very major performing arts center in my area, did a lot of very significant work for them over the years that i wont go in depth about, but im the only high schooler to ever work there and have a few hundred hours of documented service plus many random undocumented hours and festivals

-Piano for 10 years, clarinet for 7 years, guitar for 2 years, and i have several placements in competitions to put on the app.
-Band and Marching band, performed in several renowned halls and am principal clarinet/marching band section leader, all-district band in 8th, 10th, 11th grade.
-did an independant study about a beethoven sonata, ending in an interdisciplinary research paper and performance of it(10th grade)
-3 different internships over this coming summer in spain, france, and england (im interested in international business, will write about in app)
-i come from a super international and diverse family, russian parents, born in england, we travel all the time and ive taken language classes and worked in several countries(essay topic most likely)</p>
<p>thats it, please chance me for penn and nyu, do my extracurics and tests, course rigor overcome my shoddy gpa at all?</p>
