Nope. Not at all. Much better off with the MSAR and USNews. Make your own grids.

Lizzy M spreadsheet:

Thank YOU.

Nope. D. did not use any internet tools, ranking,…etc. She had her own criteria, and if someone advise her about school that did not match her personal preferences, she would dismiss it. That is how she choose her UG and how she choose her Med. School. Actually ended up at her dream Med. School from way back in HS, who knows how it all works, I guess it does not hurt to dream, kind of leads you in you in a right direction (your right direction). No Lizzy M, no anything.

The word is that LizzyM is a pretty good predictor of chances with low to mid-range schools (based on stats) and not so good with top schools.

Nothing is “good” with top schools. At least the LizzyM gives you some idea of your competitiveness. FWIW, my D had results both greater and lesser than what was predicted by her LizzyM score.

I didn’t post the LizzyM spreadsheet as a be-all end-all for predicting results, I think most members here are far beyond that. Rather I look at it as a tool that gives an applicant an idea of where they stand, and I think it does a good job of bringing together lots of data so that an applicant can compare various factors.

is there any predictor that includes international students?
