Hi I'm an international student and I've applied through regular decision as a freshman. According to the application deadline, I'll receive a decision latest by April 1. My application documents have been received and there are check marks on all the documents on the application status page. I also clarified a few doubts the admission officer had via email. It's been nearly two weeks since that correspondence. My application status still says "we cannot offer a decision at this time". Should I be worried it's taking so long? They received my application around January 15 I think.

Also I'm a bit nervous because I really want to get into Maryland so could you please chance me?

I got 1930 (CR: 610; M:650; W:670) in my SAT. I would estimate my high school GPA to be about 3.3-3.4 (we didn't have a GPA system in HS). I'd be in the top 15-20% of my class at least, I can't get an accurate figure. I have three fairly strong recommendation letters and my essays were fairly decent I think (I mentioned some programming experience I had etc).

As far as ECs are concerned I don't have a great deal but I've received five certificates of Distinction from Trinity College, London for examinations in Speech & Drama. I've won 3rd place in an inter-school Web Design competition held in my city. I've participated and won in debate competitions within my school.

I'm looking to pursue Computer Science as my major.
