Chance/Response Time for UMN Freshman Nursing Guarantee Program?

Hi!
I applied for the Freshman Nursing Guarantee around late August and as of now my regular application and all of my other materials are submitted. I was wondering if anyone could guess what my chance is to getting into this nursing program? First of all, I am out of state (Washington DC area) so I’m not sure if that puts me at a disadvantage. I got a 32 composite score on both of the dates that I took the ACT. I have a 3.82 GPA (weighted). I’ve done a lot of volunteer work and some more medical-related such as volunteering at a health clinic. I also did a medical program for HS students at Georgetown University. I have some leadership as well. The only sciences I have taken are Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (no human anatomy or anything).

Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about this nursing program and had some input on what they think my chances are? Thank you for reading this. Also, I was wondering how long it usually takes to get a response. I look at the application tracker but there is nothing listed under the status of my application.

Its a competitive program but your ACT and GPA are in the norm for last years admission stats. I would say your admission is likely.

You should hear back by the end of January.

It certainly would be good to have some safeties. There is a nursing program at the Rochester campus that is excellent with job opportunities at Mayo Clinic.
