<p>Please give me your thoughts on my application chances! I've busted my nuts the last 3 years and I think Dartmouth is a great fit. Debating ED Choice still, between Darthmouth, Duke, and Penn. </p>
<p>My School sent 2 to Dartmouth last year that i know of (Colleges published in yearbook which hasn't been given out yet).</p>

From Boston suburban town of 6,000
Attend Highly Competitive Private School (80 or so in Honors/AP Track of about 320 overall)
Intended Major: Either Finance/Economics, Biochemistry, or Engineering (In regards to sustainable energy sources)</p>
<p>GPA - 4.0 UW, 4.5 W (5.0 Scale) 5.0 however isnt possible as thats an A+ in AP, which arent offered until junior year and we have mandatory nonleveled classes which count in the CP1/Accelerated levels (4.25 A+/4.5 A+ respectively.)</p>
<p>Class Rank - School doesn't rank. I'd place myself likely top 5, definately top 10.
SATs - 2260 (780 Math, 730 CR, 750 Writing)
SAT IIs - 800 Chemistry, 780 Math II</p>

Boston Mueseum of Science Volunteer(11,12) - 8 hrs/week in summer, 3 hrs/week during schoolyear. 16 hrs/week school vacations.
National Honor Society (It is a requirement we do about 50 hrs. service per year at school events, orientations, etc.)

Athletic Training(11,12) - 12 hrs/week Summer, Fall, Winter for lacrosse (does NOT include indoor track.)
Environmental Club (10-12)
Varsity Indoor Track - We are a top 5 program in the state.
Freshman, JV, V Lacrosse (9-12) - We are a top program competing for D1 State Championships.
Freshman orientation Group leader (11 - It is 2 full days of training and 3 fulls days of orientation plus activities during the year for the group.) and Planning Comittee (12) Planning comittee includes group leader activities plus additional meetings to plan activities, events, etc.
Volunteer Hours - Activities listed above plus a few others. About 500 from mid-sophomore year to application time</p>

Counselor Rec - Good, my schools system is individualized and I had a great season with him as a JV lacrosse coach.
Teacher Rec #1 - Excellent - Physics teacher. We had a lot in common since the start and hit it off in class (we're both "nerdy math guys" with an equal passion for athletics)
Teacher Rec #2 - Good - History teacher. I consistently did well in his class despite the fact history is easily my least favorite subject.</p>
<p>Essays - Excellent. Ive been working on these since June. My writing really flows when I spend alot of time making revisions.</p>
<p>Courseload/Grades - .5's are used as semester courses...(5)Numbers before classes are AP test results.</p>
