<p>Hello everyone, what are my chances of getting into all the UCs? (especially LA, and B) also if it's possible, can you guys tell me which top school i can get in. (the best school i can possibly have a shot at with my stats) ps. i really want to get into harvey mudd. i went to the campus tour, the overnight stay and i really nailed the interview. my interviewer told me that was his best interview ever, so i think i did great on that part. </p>

<p>now comes the depressing part. i was never a good test taker and just never had the will and the time to study for it.</p>

<p>ACT: 32 (essay 10)
SAT II math 2: 680 (slap myself, i retook it in november, and i hope it would be better.)
SAT II Chemistry: 740 (was really disappointed at the score)
SAT II US: 750
SAT II chinese with listening: 790 ( i know it doesnt realy help me since i am chinese american)</p>

<p>Essays: My lit teacher said it was the best one she read so far, and i worked pretty hard on it. </p>

<p>and the best thing that set me aside from other applicants will have to be my job:
i work as a paid lab chemist at a laboratory. I conduct tests such as Epiderm, DNA extraction, HPLC, TLC, Acid and Base, Enzymes, Particle Size, and researches like Anthocyanin analysis in fruit product. So basically pretty modern science. Other researches that i partake include DNA extraction/verification of modification, Epiderm human clone skin verification test, and other ones. So basically i know almost every chemistry test out there, and i know how to do almost all the new procedures regarding to biotechnology. </p>

<p>Interesting Stats, your scores are a bit iffy there but its not a 100% tight measurement of your intelligence so colleges should know there’s those people out there who can be super smart when it comes to school work but when it comes to SAT and ACT its just horrible. It could also be the school you attend that just taught you crap grammar but overall NICE. Good luck my brotha!</p>

<p>Mudd won’t look very favourably on the Math II score. Pretty sure middle 50% is all 800s for that one here, and for a reason - core math isn’t easy, they want to make sure you’re up for it. If all other areas are great it probably won’t be a dealbreaker, but all in all I’d say you’d have a brilliant chance at coming here if weren’t for the subject SATs.</p>
