I'm currently a sophomore and planning on graduating early. I have a 93 weighted and unweighted GPA. I'm not in any honors or AP classes, but i'm accelerated in science since I took earth science a year early in middle school. My GPA so far this year is a 96. I haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet, but I am in the spring and summer, but i'm sure my scores will be fine, i'm a good test taker. I don't know if my location (upstate NY) affects my chances in getting into Florida colleges. My top 4 choices are UCF, FAU, FIU and USF. I want to major in biology. Does graduating early look good in applications?
I'm also still trying to decide what my schedule should be for my senior year. This year I'm in all sophomore classes and 11th grade chemistry and us history. I need to graduate with 4 English credits, 4 history, 3 math and 3 science. Florida has different requirements and I need 4 math instead. So I definitely need to take English 11 and 12, Trig and stats(instead of pre-calc because I'm pretty sure you need to take trig first because you apply information to pre-calc. not sure exactly but im not that strong in math) AP Eco (to cover PIGG and Eco) health and two gym classes. Its not required, but I can fit in physics and my 4th year of Spanish into my schedule if I take health and gym over the summer. But should I? Is it worth it or does it matter?
If anyone has any advice for me, it'd be great and extremely helpful.
