Where should i be looking at?
thanks

US citizen, but grew up in asia, returned for private high school(highly competitive)

no one can tell you where to look at just by looking at your stats/EC's. you need to look for colleges on your own that fit the atmosphere that you're looking for and you test scores make you competitive. do your own research and then we'll tell you what your chances are.

I would advise you not to get your heart set on Ivies or other top schools, despite your great scores in science and math, because of your lack of leadership experience, mixed grades, and low SAT R/W. Look at schools like RPI, Case, and State U. honors programs.

i've been getting mixed views
some people said that the school would look at my toefl score more than the sat writing and reading since English is not my first language, which might give me a better chance at getting into good schools
I also heard that you get a better chance applying ED to better schools
I don't know if i would be wasting my chance on applying ED to one of the ivy schools
I want to major in either material or mechanical engineering
Any suggestion for the best school that i should apply ED for within my reach?
my college counselor told me to apply ed to either cornell or upenn
i'm not sure if that'd be a wast of chance:(~
