Chance with low gpa, decent SAT

Hi,
I have already applied, but what do you think my chances are?

UC GPA 3.65 at competitive public magnet
SAT 1 2260 CR (720) M (750) WR (790)
SAT 2 WH (800) Lit (710)
Major: History
Full IB Candidate
In state

Community Service: 250+

Do I stand a chance, or would my GPA kill me?

I think it would, sorry.

Also it seems you have no ECs.

You have a chance, but your GPA does hurt as the average is above 4.2 I think.

The best way to tell would be to look at people from your school in previous years with your situation. How did they do? If your school is really a competitive place, and people with similar stats as yours get into schools of this caliber, then you have a good chance. If not, then you do not. Perhaps there are aspects that largely differentiate you from other people from your school with similar situations. if so, then it's more unpredicatable.

If you wrote really good essays u may have a good chance..

Essays only count for so much. They won't be a big factor if OP's academics pales with those from his school.
