Chance?

Solely based on stats, which schools would I be the most likely to get into?

UWGPA: 3.9
WGPA: 4.7

SAT: 1590/2360
Math 2: 800, planning on scoring above 750 on two others

APs
US Gov:5, taking 5 this year and hoping to get a 4 or 5 on all

I'm looking at...

Amherst
Brown
Cornell
Dartmouth
Georgetown
Princeton
Swarthmore
U Chicago

And I'm probably going to major in english, history, or poli sci

Thanks! I'll chance back.

I think your GPA is really good for your schools but you should retake the SAT because your score for it isn’t that high and you should probably reconsider taking the ACT. Now could you please chance me?

^His SAT is 2360, 1590 is CR + Math. I think you have an excellent chance at all of your schools, but your lack of ECs makes it hard to gauge.

Because your stats are very near perfect, you’re right in the range of these schools. However, tons of students applying will have similar stats. At that point, your high scores won’t matter as much as your EC’s, essays, and leadership roles- they are just as if not more important.

Chance me back, please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1116167-what-my-chances-northwestern-syracuse-etc.html

Ivys are always going to be toss ups even for perfect applications so all you can do for now is work on essays and ECs… if both of those go well you should be fine

you have as good of a chance as anyone at the ivies, but you can never be sure about those schools. you should at least get into cornell.
