Worries: CR SAT score… Most of all I had 1 A- in the first two years of high school and then 3 in my junior year… Will this be a major problem?

I’d say you have a very good shot (definitely above avg.). I think rest of your app is strong enough to make up for your still strong overall SAT score.

Good luck!

I agree that you have a better than average chance in ED. No guarantees, but if you are rejected for some reason, it would definitely not be because of your stats/grades, so stop worrying about them. Only the essays are in your control now anyway, so concentrate on them.

I agree with PurpleTitan. Your grades and scores are not a problem at all. You are a strong candidate. Focus your energy on your essays and conveying who you are.

@CCMom2U @PurpleTitan @Boothie007 UPDATE: I actually have 3 A- and 1 B+ my junior year. I took 5 APs and got an A+, an A and 3 A- in my honors Latin I got a B+ and academic calc I got an A. Does this change anything? How do schools view A-s?

Nothing changes. Stats and grades are fine. It comes down to essays, recs, your presentation of who you are, etc.
