You have a good shot because of your race and gender, since the reality is, as I'm sure you know, not enough African-American males apply to schools. You'll likely get into a fair number of schools and my advice is to use that opportunity to go where you fit best. This may be a controversial comment: having this edge is one of the few perks of being African-American so do the most for yourself with it. Good luck.

do you think i have a shot at BC or Nova?

Sure, of course, especially if you get your test scores up enough that they can look at your file without going "yuck." Think about fit. Not a lot of diversity at BC, but don't know how much that matters to you. Don't know much about Villanova (I assume that's what you meant).

Boston is a diverse city but, to be honest, not so much when it comes to African-Americans, who aren't particularly embedded in the local political and corporate culture outside the City of Boston itself. That compares unfavorably to cities with larger African-American populations - and I'm speaking of middle and upper middle classes not poor people. But each person fits differently.

thanks because the school i go to now is mostly white with little african americans I think we only have about 30 and thats alot compared to recent years ..So going to a school with an equal ratio or races ins't that important I just want to go where I can recieve the best education possible and will prepare me for the future but i still want to have some fun thats why I'm looking into schools by cities lik BC BU Northeastern an Nova

If you have the time, visit places. Summer isn't the best time to get the feel for what a place is like when it's busy. BC, BU, Northeastern in the summer are quiet, quiet.

yea cause i visted last summer and i really liked them alot however there wasnt as many people as thought would be there

It's great to be here in the summer but it's not the same as when school is cranking. I can park anywhere near BU any time of day during the summer.
