Chance? :)

i’m a junior.

alright, weighted gpa is a 4.02. i have no idea what it is unweighted, they don’t put it on the transcript. probably around a 3.7, 3.8? APs are weighted by 1.0 and honors classes from the '07-'08 school year and forward are weighted .25 (but this is not retroactive to previous years, despite the fact that the classes are the same)

essentially, i have all As and A-s aside from a B+ in a half credit honors social studies course (before it was weighted), a B+ in AP physics, and a B in AP english language.

this year i also AP calc AB and got an A, and next year i’m taking AP stat, calc BC, and spanish.
everything is honors except for english and social studies in ninth grade and english and social studies senior year. and electives and gym and stuff.

SATs-

1st time cr 610, math 640, writing 790
2nd time cr 640, math 720, writing 780

i dont have subject test scores yet. i think i did horrible in spanish, alright in chemistry (although unfortunately, i learned equilibrium and acids/bases the week after i took the test), and hopefully well in math 2.

problem is, i have like no extracurriculars. i’m a national merit commended student, but i’m not getting past that level. i’m in the spanish national honor society 11th/12th grade. but that’s really kind of it.

Your definitely in. Why would you act so concerned if you have above a 4.0. The average GPA is like a 3.5 and your well with in the 50% range with SATS. No worries...

BTW try to join a few clubs, because having ECs is considered a "major factor". Just join a few clubs just to put in on paper and never show up
