There’s no way I, or really anyone else one this forum knows what your chances are as well as you do. Apply, have a fun time, enjoy your last year of high school, and so long as you apply to a good range of schools, you’ll end up in a place where you can develop and grow.

You don’t need us to give you an ego boost, nor deride you and say you haven’t been living “right” these past few years. Do what you want, go where you belong, and you’ll be alright.

^^^ agree. ^^^
Chances threads are totally ****ed. If you think about it, it’s just a bunch of highschoolers telling each other they can/can’t get in to schools they may/may not know anything about. Furthermore, what do you think another Brown hopeful would tell you? They would tell you that you will never get in so they have a better chance of admission. It’s pathetic.

Well, I was hoping that current Yale students or alumni could give me their input.

I’m not looking for an ego boost… I am honestly concerned about my chances, especially considering my transcript.

^This isn’t the Yale thread…

Obviously your test scores are very competitive, and that your worst grades were as a freshman won’t hurt. With that said, none of us here are admissions officers. We really have no clue. You look like you have a chance. But you have to understand, we don’t see the rest of the applicants, we don’t see much of the information that the admissions officers will see, and nothing this board can say will carry any authority. Be proud of what you’ve done, there’s no sense in worrying about something that’s already happened. Do your best next year and see what happens.

Oops, sorry. I was on my phone and got a bit confused.

I understand. Thanks.
