Chancellor's Interview

I recently found out that I have received an interview for the Chancellor's. I'm wondering if anyone knows what I can expect and if anyone else got one...

I got one as well.

Was it an email? When did you postmark your chancellor's application?

Congratulations!

I got both email and snail mail...I postmarked Nov 19th

Does Pitt pay for the trip for the chancellor's interview?

pitt has some special ambassadors that will be giving you guys a call very soon to let you know what to expect. i'm in the honors dorm and one of my friends is an ambassador; they just started making calls.

So if you are going to be invited you should have heard by now? :-/

This might be of interest (though it's a dozen years old.) Best of luck to everyone interviewing.

Congrats to all interviewees! Has anyone else been notified yet?

Not yet. When do they stop sending out interview invitations?

Ds did hear back -- he is invited to interview! :-) :-) :-) He just heard earlier this week.

how long after you submitted your application did you hear back about the interview?

I just heard that I didn't make it. It's been roughly two months.

Same situation as Chrys for my daughter. No interview (nice letter though) a little less than 2 months after submitting her Chancellor's application.

You are being interviewed for the Chancellor Scholarship, a 'full ride', tuition and room and board.

You will be interviewed by Doc Stewart, dean of the Honors College. He's pretty old, like 70 but a very cool guy.

I'm not sure all what they ask you but I've heard they ask you what were the last few books you've read and to talk about them.
