Chances and maybe some suggestions...

Hey, guys.

I'm looking for schools with a solid Creative Writing and/or English major. Bascially, I want to get into a good writing program. I'd also prefer the school to offer some sort of Film Studies major/minor, but it's not a must. I've been having a tough time trying to discern which schools I could realistically get into. I'll list the ones on my list below, and if anyway could possibly think of any other schools I may have missed that have a good writing major, feel free to chime in. Anyway, I appreciate your help:

Schools:

Wesleyan (Super reach)
Northwestern
UVA
Ohio Wesleyan
McDaniel College

Good recs. Great essay.

In regards to ECs, I put a lot of time in on a 3,000+ member tv spoiler forum. I'm one of the admins. I've seen some talk on CC that it would be a good EC to put down because of the team related aspect of it. Others say it isn't an EC. Your thoughts?

If there's any other info I need but I've forgotten, I'd be glad to provide it.

Thanks. :)

Excuse the double post, but I figured I should include this:

I'm a caucasian male.

I'm a first-gen college student.

In regards to APs:

I'm currently taking AP Physics C and AP English Lit & Comp.

My school only offers 5 APs total. You cannot take ANY until your junior year, and the only one you can take at that point is AP World History. The other four are available during your senior year. No one else in my school is taking more than 1 AP except me. I've taken honors courses throughout high school. (The only exception is that I took regular Alegebra II and Geometry, as opposed to honors. I did take Honors Trig and Honors Calc, however)

My school:

Just to give you an idea of the type of school I attend, my school is in public school in a rural community. I'd say 35-40% of the kids in my class won't go to college at all. 20-25% will go to community college. 45 - 50% will apply to local universities.
