Keeping it brief:

3.7W / 3.1-3.3 UW GPA (not quite sure of the exact scores)

1270/1300 - 1910/1940 SATs (former best at one time; latter best combined)

ECs: not many, but decidicated to the ones I have (15-20 hours a week of work, held job for 3 years; have been playing guitar for nearly 10 years; various small school clubs)

Essays: Depends on the school, but overall very good-excellent (writing was always my strong point when it comes to academics).

Recs: Don't know for sure, but I picked two teachers that have informed my parents that they like me and think I stand out as an individual among the rest of my students.

Schools:

Virginia Commonwealth University
Eugene Lang College
George Washington University
American University
Pratt Institute (writing...)

I am applying to the English or Creative Writing program for all, if that makes a difference.

Also, I did not apply to these three schools, but had I decided to, would I have had any chances at:

NYU (NOT Stern, but to the English/writing program that is considerably less competitive)
Kenyon
Oberlin

Thanks a lot. Feel free to just comment on the one or two schools you're familiar with.
