What do you mean by suggestions for the ECs? I mean, it would be absolutely ludicrous to try start and excel at a new EC now. You should instead focus on presenting yourself in the best light possible in your apps - that includes writing some mighty fine essays, and it's not too early to get cracking on those :).

BTW, which board? ICSE or CBSE?

Thanks! You made my day by saying that! :D No I don't wanna study environmental science. though if I do architecture I might focus on sustainability. A part of my motivation to study science is to figure out new ways of integrating environmental sensitive practices with it :)

Lol, that's SO not what I meant by suggestion for the ECs! I guess I used the wrong words. What I meant was, critique for the ECs...my chances based on them because otherwise i'm decent. I have CBSE. What about you?

Terrific! Making the world a better place, I see! Well kodus to you and all the luck with MIT. By the way, have you considered CIT? It's just as good, if not harder. You may have to take a test for admission to get in, though. MIT does not require an admission test but, it still is one of the hardest schools to get in.

Hehe Thkoo! CIT as in California Institute of technology?

Yes, California Institute of Technology. My friend that recently graduated got accepted there. He had to take the admission exam so he flew over there and since he also had IB exams to take at school, he flew back right away without ANY sleep and sat and took all his IB exams. I felt so bad for him =[ But, he got in - so it was worth it =]

Yay for him! :)

Is the admission test the main criteria? I might not be able to fly there to give the test, so that might be a problem. Any idea about international Fin Aid scene?

Could you tell us more about this admission test for Caltech? :O
Never heard of it. :|

there's no admissions test for caltech...you do take several placement tests once you get in, though.
