<p>I was deffered at first with an SAT score of 1050/1560 and now i have an 1170/1680</p>
<p>my gpa was a 3.7 and i have a 4.32 gpa my senior year (raising it to a 3.8)</p>
<p>I'm hispanic... i'm in track and field, i have a good resume and a good essay.</p>
<p>You should have a better chance with the new score, although if you were deferred at first that might not be the best of signs. Sadly, Hispanic doesn't work as great for the Florida schools, as they get a lot of Hispanic applicants and students (myself included) but you should still be okay if the rest of your application is good.</p>

<p>I'm not an adcom, just an applicant who did some research. If you want to find out more, look up the common data set for the school and see how you fit in with that.</p>
