Chances as transfer

this whole process of transferring is stressful so im trying to get as many opinions as I can. i was accepted as a freshman applicant and was awarded the 1/3 tuition merit scholarship and recieved a 10k grant and am gonna reapply for fall 2018… here are my stats:
hs gpa: 4.09
community college gpa: 4.0 as of now
has worked at a cafe with students with complex learning disabilities for 4 years now
no extracurriculars besides that in college, hoping to join a club and get a job or internship at a local bank soon
high school activities- theater, show choir, nhs, national art honors secretary, and other school clubs

i really regret going to community college but my mom insisted due to finances and us not agreeing on other schools… anyways… any input on my chances on getting accepted again hopefully with another merit scholarship (maybe i could reinstate the previous one)?

forgot, sat (out of 1600): 1290

My daughter is a current sophomore at Bentley, and received the 1/3 scholarship as well. I recall in my conversation with admission last year they mentioned that the scholarships were only awarded to incoming freshman so now sure if you would be able to get that offer again.

I am not sure what, if any, scholarships are awarded to transfer students. They kind of force your hand with the first offer because if you do not take it, then it is lost.

But fret not because if you had tight finances with the 1/3 off, then it was not a good financial fit.

My son wanted to attend Bentley also but ultimately it was just too much money. Bryant University offered him a great package and now he is thriving. Bentley is not the only school where you fit.

Your attending community college is not a bad thing. It shows your ability to handle college work and you saved a ton of cash. You will not regret that.

Agree with MassDaD; Bryant is a good option depending on your preferences
