c. German: very good, Mittelstuffe

If "Mittelstuffe" is supposed to be German, you misspelled it.........

what school are you applying to?

I duuno to which school i am applying to yet, that's why i have posted chances to many college forums. I am rather torn. As far as the Mittelstuffe is concerned, it was just a momentary typo... the two f's that is.

they meant like wharton, etc..

so demanding...

How can you get an IB diploma without a group 2 subject (you have two group 1s and two group 4s)?

I know it's possible if you are doing 3 Group 4s, but two Group 1s and two Group 2s doesn't make sense.

PS: Lang A2 != Literature course...

Some of this stuff looks questionable..

For example, "Best Male Delegate" in Model UN.
And the annual school newspaper?

I'm not familiar with the selectivity of your awards; many of them seem rather vague.

Most impressive aspects: multilingualism, job experience, and scores.

let me elucidate, about A2 language in Ib. I do two A1 subjects, greek and english, and instead of one A1 and one A2, i have two A2. The annual school newspaper is a newspaper from my previous public school in Greece that was published once per year. It's the appaling greek system...
Best male delegate in my MUN was an award i attained in my committee after voting procedure, and my councelor told me i should include it. There was also a female delegate as well, FYI.

As far as the awards is concerned, i am pretty sure that if i used the greek terms, such as aristeion proodou and proteion(αριστείον προόδου and πρωτείον), you would get it. It's the best translation that can be made. It's sth equivalent to Honor society, only national.

And language A2 is not literature course, A1 is lit. A2 is learning the language itself.

debate-addict~ I am not commenting on your chances or anything. Your word choices for posting on this forum seems a bit too formal. For example: elucidate, rather torn, etc. LOL

All of us are people, you know. Some are really really smart but not that formal.

elucidate. haha.

Okay, to all the people who are mocking and stuff, i am not a native speaker, so GET OFF MY BACK. This is how i was taught to speak so get a grip and try to understand (to all those people who think they are being smart). To all the rest who are in for the serious part of it, and not just to show off (place8726), i welcome critisicm.

hahahahah....

ya i agree with debate addict!
ppl who are not native speakers tend to speak really formally and its not funny to mock them

lol. mmmkay. well. mmkay.

^ Haha, cute.

Is the Greek MUN system different? Most prestigious colleges only look at "Best Delegate" awards, which are distributed officially during the closing ceremonies. I guess "Best Male Delegate" is the equivalent, although it's sort of weird when separate awards are given out for each gender.. Thanks for clarifying.

Way to post chances threads on every forum -thumbs up-

this thread is worthy of my presence..

Well, the Greek MUN is not that different. Actually, in my DSAMUN (Deutsche Schule Athen MUN), there were people from Vermont, and i got to chat about MUNs in general... So no, it's pretty much the same. But there are some differences, cuz each school does some things differently. For instance, in AMUN (anatolia MUN), there isnt gonna be any lobbying. We are gonna debate right away (more like a policy statement presentation) and after like 10 minutes we get together and discuss the resols. That way we dont waste time trying to find who supports what.
