Hey I'm a current senior and I'm wondering what my chances are at Barnard, Gw, or Vassar.
Stats:
Gpa 3.5 to 3.60 uw It's low because I don't have the greatest work ethic and procrastinate quite often but I'm hoping to change that. Basically the grades I have are result of little studying. I've taken mostly the hardest courses my school offers, a lot of APs and honors courses. But I also got two c's in math and a c+ in physics which I'm worried about.
Sat: 1860 I didn't really study so I hoping to actually study for it and take it again.
Rank: around 80 out 600 or so I go to a pretty competitive school.
Extracurriculars:
Model UN- Vice President this year, last year I also had a leadership position
Swim Team- 9th grade Varsity Letter
Crew- Cowswain 2 years Varsity Letter
Philosophy Club
National Honor Society
Latin Club- 1 year
Other/Extra
went to a specialty high school in ninth grade for international studies
went to governors school this past summer for Humanities
will letters of recommendation will probably be very good
essays will be excellent
intended major: international relations, public policy, or political science

Vassar: Reach
Barnard: low reach
GW: high match

Thanks! Just out of curiosity why do you think it would be easier for me to get into Barnard than Vassar?

Absolutely. You definitely have a better chance at Vassar. Best of Luck!
