I’ve volunteered at a local running club since the ninth grade. My activities with that include helping manage local road races and helping at a summer running camp directed primarily at helping beginning runners get in shape.
I’m getting a rec from my math teacher (10-12) and one from my Lang/Comp teacher (11), and a supplementary rec from my cross country coach; all of these should be pretty good.
In addition to playing viola for my school’s orchestra, I also play guitar (self-taught) and I take singing lessons.
Seniors at my school are given the option to replace one class with a year-long project. I'm writing a book for mine.

That’s it. All feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Cool, thanks. Heh… I was more worried about my grades than my ECs before I posted this… I’m an okay writer, though, so my essays will hopefully help me out.

Brown: A reach, yourt test scores a great, and good grades. Lacking a little in EC’s.
UPenn: Reach for everyone, great test scores. Definate chance, work on the EC’s/
Columbia: Work on your EC’s… Great grades.
UChicago: Low reach. Id say your in here, great test scores should do the trick.

Really, you have a great chance at all 4. Break 700s on the SAT II’s and youll have great chances at all.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/741546-johns-hopkins-ea-brown-will-chance-back.html

ahhh. I’m not sure how I can fix my partial lack of ECs seeing as I really only have one semester left. Oh well. Good to know that everything else is in good shape, regardless.

Also, can someone tell me if they think I need more community service?
