<p>I have a bad GPA, mediocre extra curriculars/sports/clubs, awful ACT score, but a pretty good SAT score with a lot of difficult classes taken in high school. I earned a 2.6 Freshman year but I improved my GPA each semester afterwards. I earned a 3.7 GPA by the end of my junior year for the semester. Where do I stand and do I need to take subject tests?</p>

<p>At least two subject tests are required, I’m pretty sure. I took Biology M, Lit, and US History, but obviously you should tailor that to your prospective major.</p>

<p>Eta: Skills USA, yes! Did you guys win any medals? I did extemp and I put my medals on my application, lol.</p>

<p>you’re not lookin bad right now, as long as you take your two subject tests like minthe said. also, since your gpa is low, you might want to look into retaking the regular sat as well, but a 2000 isn’t bad for BU. rather be safe than sorry though, right? might be seeing you there in fall '11 as i’m applying too! whats your intended major?</p>
