Anyway, thanks for reading this and please be honest. I appreciate it!!!

Your stats are fine; it's the essays that will make or break your application.

International student is not a good thing if you are applying for FinAid.

You should definitly apply. Everything looks solid

you're super solid, and i'd only think that there would be a problem if you need a lot of finaid, cause for chicago, its not need-blind for international applicants. Also, I see that you are quite the golfist, and I'd just like to point out that Chicago does NOT have a golf team (that I know of). I golf too, but totally NOT on that level (8 hcp). Well, your stats do sound impressive, and if you apply - and hopefully get in and attend - know that there are golfers out there!!!

I don' know...international is really tough you'll have a lot of competition to beat.

i honestly think he has a pretty damn good chance of getting in. i too am a golfer, and im quite disappointed that uchicago does not have a golf team. but hey, if some golfers can get together and just play around the golf courses near chicago...thatd be pretty sweet

I honestly think you are an "in." Your stats are amazing, and you are Hispanic, a minority which the U. of C. admits it is actively recruiting. I know a bit about the clubs here, as I live on campus, and I, too, have never heard of a golf team.

A student group can form a golf team. I believe that if a sports club can demonstrate it has 10 or more members the University will supply a coach. They also provide funds for competition travel, etc. My S is in a sports club that travels for competitions, has a coach, etc. that was started by a group of students. So.... Golfers Unite!

isn't there a course southeast of BJ not too far away?
