Chances at Columbia?

<p>SAT score is way too low. It needs to be around 2200. Make sure she gets amazing recs and has killer essays. There’s time to work on it! :)<br>
Wait. What is her UW GPA? If weigthed is 4.0 I estimate her UW at arouns a low 3.2-3.4. That is definately too low. Did you mean to put unwieghted in place of weighted maybe? That fits more with the class rank. I got those confused until a few months ago.</p>

I disagree about the GPA being too low, even if it is weighted. The fact that she is 3 out of 700 is much more important than her actual GPA, since that will be in context.</p>

I agree, but we need more information. What are her scores in reading, writing and math?
She might do better on the ACT. Tell her to take that.
Either way, the SAT II score in math is definitely way too low for engineering. She can, of course, get it up in time if she retakes in the fall.</p>
