Chances at Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon

I am starting to worry about getting into some of my dream collegs so I was hoping if some of you could tell me if I have a decent shot at these schoolsl...

I attend a decent public school in a very rural part of Rhode Island.

GPA: 4.44 weighted, 4.05 unweighted (at my school, an A+ = 4.33, so the highest possible unweighted score is 4.33)
SAT I: 690 verbal, 650 math
SAT II: 800 Ecological biology, 700 math IC, and 720 writing
ACT: composite score of 30 (Math:30,Science:33,English:33,Reading:24)
Class Rank: 2/250
Courseload: I have the most difficult possible courseload at my school. This year I am taking 5 AP classes (physics, biology, chemistry, calculus AB, and english lit). Last year I took AP US History and got a 4 on the test. My state requires that everyone take gym/health every year. to get around this, i took a gym class at a local community college to fit in more AP classes.
Essays: I think that they are pretty good. I spent a lot of time on them and tried to make them very personal.
Recommendations: My guidance counselor showed me his and it was excellent. I had my chemistry and english do one, but I didn't see them. I think they are good as well.

ECs:

-I have been in my school's band all 4 years. Our band has won numerous national awards for many years. Last year, we came in 3rd out of a competition hosting over 100 bands from around the country. I sent in cornell a tape of this performance to show them the music program I come from. I was the first chair alto saxophone in my school's wind ensemble for the past two years. Also, I play the clarinet. I am in the Rhode Island Wind Ensemble ( i am one of only 3 high school students..most of the members are much older and more musically educated adults) as a clarinet player. I was also recently accepted into the Southern New England Honors Band as a clarinet player.
-President of a club called Youth to Youth. The club's aim is to reduce smoking and drinking in the school. We were successful in all but eliminating smoking from our school. We tried to pass a town ordinance that would ban smoking but were denied. I am also my high school's ambassador to a local organization that is very similar to youth to youth but is more community oriented.
-I have worked at my town's animal shelter for 3 years
-I went to Ecuador to improve my Spanish skills. I stayed with a family that didn't speak a word of English.
-This year, I tutor students in Spanish and Math.

Awards/Recognitions

-I was the recepient of the Bausch and Lomb science award
-Invited to attend the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference. While there, I placed 1st in an essay writing contest
-Was invited to represent my state at a national leadership conference, but I couldn't make it due to finicial restrictions

My school is pretty small, so the number of clubs and awards it gives out is limited.

I think that is it. I truly appreciate any input!

Ooh I don't know if this matters but I am a white male.

Unfortunately it does matter.

I think you have a reasonable chance of getting into all 3.

any more opinions?

I don't know whether to take the lack of responses as a bad sign or a good sign...

I Am Pro-smoking!!
People Should Have A Right To Smoke!!!

one last bump...

All three colleges are very competitive but you'll probably end up getting in at one of them. more importantly, don't fret about it. when i first found this site i was so concerned about what other people thought that i got all stressed about whether or not i'd get into my top schools (oddly enough Cu and CMU). The opint is that the people that respond aren't on the admissions committee and theres not much you can do to control that whole process at this point besides doing well in school. it's just a waste of time to sit here and fret.
