<p>im from Scarsdale High School in Scarsdale, NY and the Amherst and Cambridge programs are expensive. The Cambridge program is more expensive than the Amherst one and they are both pretty expensive</p>
<p>Cornell's sat range for 2003-2004 application year which is on princeton review.com and collegeboard.com right now was 1290-1490, so you are defintely competitive. This year, my application year, not released yet, if consistent with past years, will be 1300-1510. Therefore, the average SAT is around a 1400-1410.</p>
<p>Oh, and I'd say that you have a good shot. Scarsdale HS is a pretty impressive school to come from, they're tough there, and I'm sure that admissions officers know that.</p>
