wow there are so many of these already aghhhh ANYWAYS

I am a junior in high school, and am strongly considering Cornell University. I have a 4.3 weighted GPA and a 3.9 unweighted GPA, including 5 AP course thus far (which I have maintained an A or A- in all). I don't know what my class rank is because my school doesn't do that..

So far I have gotten a 2060 on the SAT with very minimal prep work and a 29 on the ACT. I plan on studying for both of these extensively over the summer, so hopefully I will raise the SAT by at least another 100-150 points and get my ACT to a 32-33 range.

I am the treasurer of my MUN club and am going to be the president next year. I have won several awards including a gavel and an honorable delegate at national conferences. I am an editor of my school newspaper. I also have a varsity letter from being a coxswain on the school crew team, which I have been involved with for three years.

I am a member of National Honor Society, Japanese Honor Society, History Honor Society, and the Journalism Honor Society. I also volunteer at a local food drive and thrift store weekly.

My work experience includes an internship at Environment America over the summer, some office work at a test prep center, and a camp counselorship at a summer camp helping disadvantaged kids learn math/reading skills.

I know that my SAT/ACT scores are my biggest weakness right now, but on the whole do you think there is a chance at being accepted to an elite school like Cornell?
