hey man, I'm also applying for Baruch but I'm in NYC. I say you have a 99% chance. Maybe I'll see you next fall. Though I wonder where you will live...

Thanks, yea do you know if you can apply for honors after you have been accepted? Like after the first semester or the first year.

CUNY Baruch: Match

Thanks, anyone else???

"Thanks, yea do you know if you can apply for honors after you have been accepted? Like after the first semester or the first year."
I think you can apply for honors after your first semester but I'm not sure, but if you've sent in your application already you cant send in a CUNY Honors Application (well you can but theres a really long process). You should ask.

Yea, I already sent in my application. But I am pretty sure you can apply after your first semester. Also does it matter if I had an interview or not just for the regular admissions???

CUNY baruch is the one with the really good accounting program, right? (My dad claimed that in that one field it rivals Wharton) To be honest, you're the first non-NY-metro area person I've ever heard of applying to a CUNY. Their regular program is a lock for you but the honor program likes to see 1300+ SAT so your chances are a little iffy.

Interviews aren't standard with CUNYs or CUNY honors. At least I've never heard of anyone having an interview.

Most of the out of staters that go to Baruch are from NJ, and commute.

Yea, I just love Manhattan and I plan to live there after college. Also, I heard the school is known really well in New York City and I was impressed by the companies that recruit there.
