Chances at Dartmouth ED next year

This is very important to me, I really wana go here. So anyway, I'm combining what I would ideally have at the end of this year (junior) with what I actually do have.
Note* Though my GPA may seem low, it is unweighted and at a school which Harvard called "the best in the nation."
Note**Note my overbearing disadvantage-- I'm a white kid from New York City.

GPA- 3.76
SAT I- 2280
SAT II-
US History-770
Literature-790
Math II- 740

APs-
US History- 4
European History- 4
Chinese Language and Culture- 5
Literature- 5
English- 5

ECs:
Debate team (our team wins states every year)
Track team
Asian Cultural Society Co-President
Newspaper Staff Writer
Film Magazine Writer
Young Democrats Club
Chinese Language Peer Tutor
Community Service- Won't explain what it is, but I'd say its sufficient

Art Class outside of school (probably my one legitimate talent)

Sorry, this might just be the deferral talking, but your chances don't look great.

Three weeks ago I would have said yes. I have similar ECs (athlete, editor, various leadership positions), similar scores (yours being slightly superior), and I am also a white male from the NYC area. I was a musician though, selected for County, All State, and All Eastern singing ensembles. Very involved in theater. And a legacy by my grandfather

It's really difficult, especially for white males from Southern New York (westchester, Long island, NYC). You're highly highly highly qualified, but Dartmouth accepts a majority of their 'hook' students (minorities, athletes, legacies sometimes, first gen college students) in the ED pool. Not even being a legacy helped me. I would honestly say you have a better chance regular, but I know the wait is long.

Apply early. You're highly qualified. It's a great school. If you get deferred than...I don't know! Ahahaha it happens. Then just wait for spring =)

Best of luck!
