I am a tenth grade student at a Mississippi aademy. I scored a 27 at the beginning of my tenth grade year on the ACT and a 34 in English this year and a 33 in reading in the 9th grade. Through the PLAN, I am projected to make around a 32 or 33 as a senior. Though I have yet to take the SAT or the subject tests, I am confident I will do well. As my strong point is writing, I plan to score especially high on the ACT with writing test. I will most likely be 1st in my class with a 4.0 and above a 4.0 weighted GPA in all of the honors and AP classes. I have the had the highest average in every class I've taken so far with a 100 or above.

As for the ECs, I am a charter member of the Mississippi State University Community Band-trombone. I also am a member of the NHS and will hold leadership positions in the coming years. I was selected as a HOBY representative and will participate in the national leadership conferences in which my school participates. I am also expected by my teachers to either win or place in the many reputable writing competitions exclusive to my region (Willie Morris Competition, Jack White, etc.). I will be an Eagle Scout and will volunteer at my local Habitat for Humanity chapter. I am captain of the quiz bowl team and a member of the golf team.

I realize that this description leaves much to the imagination, but, given I accomplish my goals on the agenda for the coming years, what are my chances for Dartmouth, UPenn, and Princeton. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
